How to make an event out of it!
Thousands from home and abroad enjoyed the Borders’ annual ridings, rallies, shows and festivals, as well as exciting first-time events such as the Homecoming gatherings.
Now, a European LEADER-funded project has been created to provide support to event organisers, including advice on funding, advertising and more.
The Scottish Borders Events Forum has two event executives based at Council headquarters – Nesta Todd and Sandy Neil, pictured left.
There is also a new website – www.scotbe.co.uk – for event organisers.
They can get expert advice and exchange ideas with fellow event organisers, find links to useful organisations, promote their events business in the directory and learn about the latest industry news and upcoming workshops.
